“She listened to our input and was eager to modify and adjust the training program to fit our requests."
Super easy review. Ten out of Ten recommend. Our original intent for our training was to ensure that our big puppy was well mannered and properly adjusted to our neighborhood setting. My wife and I were super pleased with the entire process. Rachel was easy to work with, prompt and friendly. She listened to our input and was eager to modify and adjust the training program to fit our requests. It is not a question of is Rise and Dog training going to be a good fit. The correct question is can I get on the calendar. -RN

“Rachel taught us so much about setting expectations [and] being consistent. She was extremely patient and flexible!"
Rachel worked with our family and our 1.5-year-old German Shepherd and we noticed such an incredible difference with our few areas of concern. Rachel taught us so much about setting expectations, being consistent, and had amazing tips for recall, house manners, and calm greetings. She was extremely patient and flexible! Rachel is extremely knowledgeable and we could not recommend her enough! -MG

"Rachel has an easy demeanor and is great to work with."
Rachel did an outstanding job training my Yorkshire puppies to walk on a leash! Before the training every adventure outside was a nightmare. Each puppy tried to pull me to where they each wanted to go….. so our walks were not a fun activity that I looked forward to. Rachel has an easy demeanor and is great to work with. My pups loved working with her too. I would highly recommend her services. -KN

She always went out of her way to make sure my pup was taken care of and was not only responsive but has continued to provide virtual assistance and suggestions now that we have moved. If you’re looking for an amazing trainer and help with your furry friend, you can’t get any better than Rachel! -BG

"She even helped us work with our special needs son and how he can communicate with Moose better."
Rise and Train has been working with my dog, Moose, since he was 4 months old. He had a LOT or separation anxiety, and even more energy to spare! Rachel has helped him get comfortable with commands, calm greetings, and helping us communicate with him more effectively. He is literally the best dog ever, and at 85 lbs, benefits from knowing what his boundaries are! She’s super reliable, and all around fantastic. She even helped us work with our special needs son and how he can communicate with Moose better. Could not recommend more!!! -RL

“Rachel did a great job of including our son in all the training sessions...we continue to use her methods and Buddy continues to improve."
Rachel is an excellent trainer of dogs and the people who love them. We hired her when our 13-year-old son's puppy, Buddy, was 4 months old. Rachel did a great job of including our son in all the training sessions, showing us both how to handle Buddy, explaining his behaviors and offering solutions that fit our family’s dynamic.
Buddy learned so many commands with the help of Rachel, to include: Let’s go (our version of “don’t pull on the leash”), Come, Sit, Free, and Place. She helped us work on Buddy’s greetings when he meets people so that he does not jump on them in his excitement.
We ended our training sessions with Rachel over a year ago due to a move, but we continue to use her methods and Buddy continues to improve. I truly cannot say enough good about Rachel. And Buddy loved her, too! -TM
